The Association Of Srilankan Graduates of Canada will be holding it's flagship event, Guidance For Higher Studies on February 24, 2024 at Milliken Mills High School, Markham.

The event is being organized in partnership with York Region District School Board(YRDSB), Canter for Leadership and Innovation(CFLI), Srilankan Accountants Association Of Canada(SAAC), and Educators For Tamil Students' Success(YRDSB) to promote higher education among Tamil Youths.

Guidance For Higher Studies - 2024

This extremely useful event for high school students and their parents would be conducted from 9:30 am till 2 pm at Milliken Mills High School, Markham. This workshop is designed to serve as a forum for dissemination of information, exchange of ideas, and sharing of academic and professional experiences.

The moderators and the panelist are selected on the basis of their success in their chosen profession and their ability relate to youth. As usual, ASGC would conduct the event free of charge and would provide free lunch to all students and parents who attend the event.

The high school students would receive vital information about the selection of courses and the career paths of different professions from the young graduates in the Tamil community. Similary, parents would also collect very valuable information from a panel of speakers who have been involved with parent-school-community issues.
